Course Content
Learners will acquire and apply operational skills necessary for developing mathematical ideas through symbolic representation and diagrams. They will select and apply mathematical techniques and will develop their understanding of the interdependencies within mathematics. Learners will develop mathematical reasoning skills and will gain experience in making informed decisions.
Entry Requirements
A good level of mathematics is required to undertake this unit. Possibly Intermediate 1 / standard grade general level / Core Maths 3 / National 4 Mathematics. Your pre-qualification should have been achieved within the last 5 years.
The course is open to applicants with no previous qualifications; however, an ability to work at National 5 level is essential

Assessments
To gain the award of the Course, the learner must complete the assessments in each section as well as the Course final exam which must be completed in an SQA centre (e.g. college) .
