SCQF Level 6

This unit is designed to give learners practical skills in reading, writing, listening and talking. This double-credit SQA module is generally accepted as an alternative to Higher English especially if combined with Literature 1 and is recognised by Universities and Teacher Training Colleges

  • Students will access their learning materials online via the College's Virtual Learning Environment or paper-based learning materials This course is self directed but with tutor support so you can learn at your own pace within an agreed timescale.
  • Courses will be delivered via time-tabled online classes, using MS Teams, supported with online learning resources in the College's Virtual Learning Environment.

Entry Requirements

Ideally candidates will already hold Intermediate 2 / Communication 3 / standard grade credit level English.
