The focus is on the development of skills and certification that will give individuals an advantage to finding employment within the hospitality, tourism as well as customer services oriented sectors.

 

  • A mixture of on campus classroom attendance and time-tabled online classes along with online learning materials.

Course Content

Areas covered:

  • Introduction to front of house,
  • working in a professional kitchen,
  • running events etc.
  • Externally recognised courses are included, i.e. manual handling, WorldHost, REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene

10 week programme (attendance under 16 hours a week)

Assessments

placement observation, exams for the relevant externally recognised courses

What you Need...

access to PC or laptop with a microphone and camera, the course will be delivered via Microsoft TEAMS
