Course Content
This fun, creative graphic design and media course will equip you with the key skills required in this exciting profession. Enjoy learning through a series of experimental projects in animation, typography, illustration, image editing, graphic design, video, sound and web design. The course content is subject to change.
Essential skills for employment or progression to further study will be developed including ICT, Communication, Numeracy, Problem solving and Working with others.
Entry Requirements
- To apply for this course, you will need to have independent learning skills. All learners are different, but you should expect to study over at least 5 days and between 28/30 hours per week. It is a requirement that you virtually attend all tutor timetabled sessions-other hours can be flexible.
- Examples of creative work
- Successful interview-Via Teams
- 3 National 5 awards at C or 3 intermediate 2 awards or Foundation Studies in Creative Industries or equivalent (qualifications ideally include English and Art/Graphics)
- Entry is possible for mature students without the stated academic qualifications depending on their prior knowledge and experience
Course Timetable
Course is commencing 18 January 2021 and runs until 26 June 2021!

Assessments
Assessment are both practical and written.

Progression
Students may apply to progress to HNC Graphic Design with Moving Image (Visual Communication certificate)
